About La Paz Dermatology

Jennifer Garrick, FNP, DCNP

Jennifer has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for 10 years, 9 of which have been exclusively as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. She has been living and/or working in Queen Creek since 2015. 

Jennifer treats all skin conditions with a focus on identifying and treating skin cancers, acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin surgery, and Cosmetic Dermatology including Botox and filler products. 

Jennifer is passionate about medical education and keeping up to date on the latest treatment options. She has extensive training in Dermoscopy (a handheld device used to help identify skin cancer) and is a member of the IDS (International Dermoscopy Society). She is also an experienced cosmetic injector having completed training with some of the most respected aesthetic minds in the world. She has been injecting since 2016, and is known for her natural results. 

Jennifer treats every patient with respect, kindness, and with the same consideration as if you were a close friend or family member. She has built up a loyal patient base over the years and is looking forward to providing the gold standard of excellence in Dermatology care at her own practice. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Dr. Ryan Jackson, DO

Dr. Jackson is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care. Raised in Mesa, Arizona, he has been serving patients in the East Valley since 2019, specializing in skin cancer surgery and comprehensive dermatologic care.

Dr. Jackson was a student-athlete at Grand Canyon University, where he graduated with a degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. After medical school, Dr. Jackson completed his internship in North Carolina and his dermatology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

A strong advocate for community health, Dr. Jackson has led educational programs on sun safety and volunteered at various local medical events.Outside of dermatology, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, coaching youth sports, and staying active through sports and regular exercise.
Dr. Jackson looks forward to partnering with patients to help them achieve their skin health goals.
